Roulette was formed in 1985 in Sundsvall, Sweden, with members who had been playing in various other bands before, including the group Overload.
After releasing their first single "Fool For Your Love" in 1988, Roulette performed a lot of live shows with Treat, Electric Boys and Lionshare amongst others, successfully took part in various rock contests and gained some TV airplay in Sweden.
In 1990, Roulette changed their name to Cherry Red, when they signed a record deal with CBS and started to work on an album with producer Per Bloom.
After some changes at the label, a single CD-only release called Only The Strong hit the shelves but the album never came out.
Due to these problems the band later called it a day and started to perform as a Def Leppard cover band which they are still up to today.
Small British label AOR FM released a limited edition of a collection of this material under the name Better Late Than Never in 2008, which sold very out fast.
Due to the strong demand, Yesterrock now takes care of this gem and makes this re-mastered version available, including two previously unreleased bonus tracks.
Don't mistake this band with the American band Roulette! This is Classic Swedish AOR like Talk Of The Town, Bad Habbit and Dalton just to name a few.
The quality and the sound of the songs are impressive, considering these are recordings from circa 1988 to 1991.
All the way from vocalist Thomas Lundgren's singing, to the tight drumming of Mats Nelin - this is top quality stuff and it's a real must-have for all fans of solid 80's AOR music!
Thomas Lundgren (Vocals)
Magnus Nelin (Guitars)
Thomas Nesslin (Keyboards)
Hansi Fellbrink (Bass)
