Wow, it’s been quite a long time since we last received some genuine vinyl at SN-HQ. But that’s exactly the format in which Affäire delivered their single “Born Too Late”. We had to send our skimpy-clad, hourglass figure butler to the attic to bring our faithful record player downstairs and blow the cobwebs off the damn thing. Of course that last thing’s a lie (except for the presence of that butler), we play vinyl every day around here, because we know what’s good for us.

Affäire from Portugal is a very straightforward operating unit. Current music trends are lost on these boys, they were ‘Born Too Late’ (A-side) and desperately want to go get some ‘Japaneze Tease’(B-side). They must have read somewhere that 80’s hardrock is still very much alive in the land of the rising sun, next to other obvious features and advantages that beautiful place has on offer. Anyway, Affäire is a nifty mix of sleazy tunes & a dash of NWOBHM and they just released a vinyl-single. If that doesn’t get your hearts racing…
