This Italian groups first album was a rather confusing experience. The base and most general sound is very inspired of the 70´s Hard Rock, with some really good songs musically. Unfortunately I have a rather hard time with languages from song to song, and when they start to mix genres as well I almost loose all interest.
So I´m going to do a different kind of review this time. First of I have to say that there is no doubt that these guys are talented and good musicians. The band just have to straighten some things out and I´ll get back to that in the end of the review. So here is my first track by track review, I hope it´s my last as well course I my self don´t like to read this kind of reviews. But it´s the only way for me to be fair to the band.
Screaming Underground is the title track of the album and one of the best songs. It got a really nice Deep Purple feel to it and a awesome 70´s hard rock groove
Pirati goes on in that same 70´s hard rock sound. The melody is really great but it looses me as it´s sung in Italian.
Mistery is a laid back song with some NU metal influences that doesn´t have the same quality as the opening tracks have. It´s rather plain and boring. But it gets extra credits for being sung in English.
27 Coffees starts of with a nice Hammond sounding intro that brings back that 70´s sound again. It´s a good song but not as good as the first two.
Burning My Sky. This song feels like it´s just a filler. It´s not bad but not good neither. This is another laid back NU metal inspired song.
La Meta Lontana is a straight and basic rock n roll song that is quit good but unfortunately the lyrics are in Italian.
Beautiful Tits goes back to the 70´s sound from the opening tracks. There is a little bit more attitude in the music and the voice in this one. Pure and simple with an awesome guitar solo.
Mirando El Mar is a simple semi ballad with a rather good melody. But once again the language makes it less interesting
Sad Reality brings back the 70´s groove once again in a really nice way. Just too bad that there aren´t more tracks with this sound on the album.
Crow Will Come is another Nu metal song that just won´t take off. It just fells like another filler.
So the content of this experience for me is. The band are talented and knows how to write good songs. But please choose one genre and one language. The choice of English would benefit the band more since then more people would be able to understand the lyrics and relate to them.
