Strangelet from Germany is a band that plays traditional Hard Rock.
It´s got that right amount of hard and heavy sounds. Even thou it´s
very traditional Hard Rock the band has managed to put their own
unique sound to the mix. It´s very captivating, with catchy rhythm.
The singer has a great powerful rock voice. The songs are solid and
strong. But it also got that special raw energy that young bands got
that so few manages to keep alive throughout their career.
It´s very hard not to like this album since it, as said before, catches
you with these rhythms and the great voice. And a lot of the songs
got these impressive sing along choruses. So it´s rather hard not to
sing along and rise your fist to the sky. This is the album you would
bring with you to a party with your friends.
And the band has even managed to create a absolutely beautiful and
moving ballad in the song “Stillborn”. The mood in this song is a lot
like Queensryche´s “Silent Lucidity” which in my book is very much
as good as it could get when it comes to ballads.
Another track that springs to my mind is “Nothing”. Mostly be course
the parts including a cowbell. I really don´t know what it is about the
cowbell but is brings a buzz to my spine. But I just love the sound
This album is really great and you gladly give it another spin. If the
“First Bite” sounds this good, I really can´t wait for the second bite.
So fellow Metalheads please welcome
