Crazy Lixx Live @ Arena 305 Malmö 28-12-2015
This show was a rather unusual show as the band did it as a part of
the making of their new video and also it was the introduction of the
two new members of Crazy Lixx.
For me it was also the first time I visited Arena305 in Malmö. It is
actually a really nice venue, rather small but a really nice
acquaintance. The stage has really great sound and lights that are
great for intimate gigs.
Well back to Crazy Lixx. I found out about this band back when
they where a struggling band whit dreams of making it big and
still had no record deal. Back then the already had great songs and
the right attitude to the sound.
This night they showed that they still got all of that and also they
got the right energy on stage.
With the opening number “Rock and a hard place” they set the
standard for the evening. It sounded great and was really tight and
energetic. Danny has a awesome voice for this kind of Rock n Roll..
The set rolls on with “Blame it on love” followed by “Riot Avenue”.
After that comes what I would now call the anthem of Crazy Lixx
“Sound of the Loud Minority”. “Lock up your Daughters” sounds
awesome just as the perhaps most well known Crazy Lixx song
“Heroes are Forever” does. “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot” and “21 til
I die” finishes off the set and also the evening.
The two new guitarists Jens Lundgren and Chrisse Olsson sounds
really great and tight. They look like they are having a great time
playing with the band.
I´m looking forward to seeing Crazy Lixx live again. Even if the
band released their latest deal only last year, I´m curious to hear
new material from this line up just to hear what the new member
will contribute to the sound.
At the time for this review the band hasn´t revealed what song the
video they made this night would be, but by the time this is online
you probably already seen it. And then you seen the the scene
shots from this show.
