Rosevalley Rebels + Hollywood Burnouts concert review
Verlichte Geest, Roeselare
Righty right, first Sleazenation gig (or at least, right after Vains Of Jenna wrecked Roeselare) of the big series!
Rosevalley Rebels, a Belgian band, opened up for Hollywood Burnouts on this night.
Basic, raw, filthy rock n' roll in the old school of the early Hollywood bands, you got it! Relying on Sandy's vast knowledge of music, since I wasn't there yet myself (stuck in traffic), these guys should be worth keeping in the back of your head.
Entertaining, filled to the brim with great guitar artistry and fitting the pose completely, more to come!

Headlining this get-together was Bayern's finest, Hollywood Burnouts. No-nonsense, straight-forward, balls-out (or tits-out, in the lead guitarist's case) rock n' roll is what they had in store.
They have the grooves, looks, attitude and a blossoming hint of the stage presence that made the street bands great back in the days, so who knows what's coming next!
With a big backdrop, almost fit for this stage, and some luminous skulls for decor, the right athmosphere was set.
The way I usually judge a band I haven't heard before, is by checking the sing-along-ability of the choruses once they get on stage. "Roll The Dice" receives the highest score on this one for sure! Fair to say, "Kings Of Sin", "Hard Ride" and a whole lot more (including an awesome rock greats compilation) did the trick...
A little polishing-up of the sound, some expansion of their style (I love that very present bass!!) and shitloads of gigs all around the world will bring these guys n' gal where they need to be: high up.
Debut cd to be expected in a couple of months!
